Our global wholesale business is a central part of our commercial setup, requiring both strategic direction and hands-on execution.

We are looking for a Head of Sales who will be responsible for driving and developing our global wholesale business in close collaboration with our Commercial Director.

 

The Role

The Head of Sales is responsible for driving OpéraSPORT’s global wholesale business through a combination of strategic direction and hands-on execution.
In close collaboration with the Commercial Director, the role contributes to strategic planning and budgeting while ensuring effective sales execution and brand consistency across markets.
Strategy and execution go hand in hand, with a strong focus on market presence, client and agent dialogue, performance follow-up, and translating market insights into sales and collection planning

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for executing and developing global wholesale sales in alignment with the strategic planning and budgeting defined together with the Commercial Director.
  • Drive sales and manage ongoing relationships with existing wholesale clients.
  • Develop new business opportunities across markets, with a focus on securing new strategic doors.
  • Plan and execute sales meetings, including preparation, negotiation, and follow-up.
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in international fashion weeks such as Paris and Copenhagen, as well as other relevant markets.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day collaboration, follow-up, and onboarding of international sales agents (contracts managed by the Commercial Director).
  • Report on sales performance, targets, and KPIs internally and in collaboration with agents.
  • Gather and share client feedback with the Commercial Director and Co-CEOs to strengthen product development and assortment planning.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and suggest potential regions, accounts, or channels for expansion.
  • Provide input to seasonal collection planning based on sales performance and market demand.

 

Your profile

  • Experience from a similar wholesale sales role within fashion.
  • Strong understanding of international wholesale markets and agent structures.
  • Comfortable working closely with leadership while driving execution independently.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Structured, commercially minded, and market-oriented.
  • Fluent in English (Danish is an advantage, not a requirement).
  • Willingness to travel internationally as part of the role.
