Denim can be machine washed at a cold temperature. Set your machine to a gentle cycle and turn your denim garment inside out and put your garment inside a washing bag. Use a denim-specific detergent that is bleach free to preserve the color of your denim garment. Use a washing bag when machine washing and use a denim-specific detergent. Air dry your denim garment. Denim can be aired out frequently instead of being washed. It is also possible to use a denim spray on your denim garment to refresh the garment.
